New Building Is Falling Apart

-

So far, Millennium Tower has shifted 38 cm from a true vertical line. The tilt puts too much strain on the construction parts and the surroundings.

PAVEMENT CRACKING

The strain from the movements of the 100,000 tons from the Millennium Tower causes the pavement in front of the building to crack.

WALLS CRACKING

The tilt causes the walls in the basement to crack. Engineers have placed meters on the walls to record the strain of the movements.

WALLS CRUMBLING

Groundwater seeps in through cracks in the foundations of the building. The water causes large areas of the walls to crumble.
