Huge publicly available databases allow scientists throughout the world to share their knowledge about cancer. The databases contain information about how different mutations affect the cancer cells, and how the cells’ thousands of proteins cooperate.

The accumulated knowledge makes it possible to analyse the cancer behaviour in details, so scientists can combat the aggressive disease and beat it, even if the cancer cells develop new, die-hard characteristics.
