Huge parachute ensures soft landing

About 1 in 10 of the world’s sports planes are already equipped with a huge parachute that unfolds in an emergency. Ballistic Recovery Systems, which manufactures parachutes for four seat Cessna planes, is developing parachutes for planes seating up to 20 passengers.
