HOW OLD DID STONE AGE PEOPLE GROW?

If we ignore the very high rate of child mortality, the average life expectancy of Stone Age people was only about 35 due mostly to disease and "misadventu­re". Teenagers were especially prone to early death. If a stone age person survived to 15, they could expect to live to about 54. A few lived to 80.
