MILLIONS OF YEARS OF RAIN CREATED OCEANS

The young Earth was so hot that water only existed in the form of water vapour. As Earth slowly cooled, the vapour condensed,and for millions of years, it never stopped raining. In this way, the vapour in the atmosphere turned into water in the oceans.
