This photograph was taken in Cuba in the mangrove areas of Gardens of the Queen (Jardines de la Reina). Although this is a small juvenile American crocodile, approximat­ely

1.5 metres long, they still have very intimidati­ng teeth!

Because of the super wide angle of the lens, the dome port of the housing was within an inch from the snout of the croc, providing this intimate close-up.
