“When I was little, DC was my entry into comics because I’m a huge Batman fan. Tim Burton’s Batman is still my favourite superhero movie because it was, for me, the perfect balance of weirdness, darkness and playfulness.”

“I grew up in a very positive household. My mom made me take violin classes, dance classes, speed-reading classes. She was basically trying to make me a superhero when I was a kid. At the time, I was like, ‘What are we doing? I just want to watch ThunderCats and Gummi Bears at home...’ Now it’s paid off!”
