Sunday 16 July 2006 was a week and a day after “Doomsday” screened, in which the Tenth Doctor and Rose parted ways.

Two years later, Russell spotted, and then talked to and shook hands with a passing David Tennant in Piccadilly Circus!

Tennant made 47 episodes of the programme from 20052010 (then returned briefly in 2013). Only a tiny handful are slightly rubbish.

Tennant is still the Doctor! Audio adventures like Death And The Queen and Time Reaver continue to be released by Big Finish.
