Highlander star Adrian Paul gives you The Sword Experience...

Forget all that “there can be only one” malarkey – if you’ve ever fancied yourself a bit of a Highlander, what better way to test your mettle than to learn combat skills from the one and only Adrian Paul? Designed and directed by the TV star – who played Duncan MacLeod in Highlander: The Series – the Sword Experience offers a training programme for sword-wielders of all levels, with Paul sharing stories from his illustrious career as a sci-fi icon while giving insight into the sort of formal and mental training it takes to become a bona fide warrior.

“It’s history, fun, and learning the choreography of a fight from a famous movie or TV show,” says Paul. The tour, which has already had a successful run in the US, kicks off on 16 July at Trim Castle in Ireland before moving to Warwick Castle on 19 July and Hopetoun House in Scotland on 23 July.
