Filmmakers Derek Lee and Clif Prowse play versions of themselves, two buddies on a round- the- world trip who find things going pearshaped after Derek develops a mysterious illness which gives him superhuman abilities. ( Spoiler: think Chronicle, but for vampires) Featuring developed characters with real chemistry, inventive camerawork and impressive gore, this is a very promising debut.
