In a directing career that spans seven decades, Richard Donner has toiled in every kind of genre from cop flicks to conspiracy thrillers but his best remembered movies are from the worlds of science fiction, fantasy and horror. After cutting his teeth on TV like The Man From UNCLE and The Twilight Zone, he went on to craft era- defining blockbusters like The Omen, Superman and The Goonies before returning to his roots by producing TV horror anthology Tales From The Crypt, inspired by the chilling EC comic books of the 1950s.
