Location Monstropolis Clientele Monsters, obvs. Appraisal Famed for its huge popularity ( make sure you book well in advance – getting a reservation can be tricky), Harryhausen’s boasts a unique sushi- inspired menu that’s big on muck, goo and rotted ingredients – the slime- crusted malodorous mackerel has to be tasted ( and likely regurgitated) to be believed. Its biggest draw, however, is the giant octopus chef, who cooks, chops, and serves up at a lightning- quick pace, adding spectacle to the dining experience – it’s little wonder the restaurant is such a monstrous success.
