SINBAD OF THE SEVEN SEAS

Putting the bad in Sinbad, this cheapjack Italian production with musclebound Lou Ferrigno as the legendary seafarer is pure panto.
Basra, the, ahem, “happiest city in the world” is threatened by the evil Jaffar; Sinbad must, of course, stop him. The tale is told by a mother to her daughter, and her narration dominates this dumb movie.
The odd moment makes you smile, but it’s generally execrable for anyone over six.
