In a near-future London, the Thames is eating into the decaying city as pianist Art and friend Sal wander its streets, dreaming of a life in sunny Egypt.
There’s not much more plot to spoil in director Ben Charles Edwards’s decadent, Gilliaminfluenced, Withnail & I-riffing fairytale. While easy on the eye (the production design and cinematography have a sleazy richness to them), there’s a fatal lack of story.
