Stop us if you’ve heard this one before. Three filmmakers head into the wilderness and don’t come back. Years later their tapes are found. But it’s UFOs, not witchcraft, in this found-footage flick inspired by the Phoenix Lights case.

The leads are good, and the film has an authentically retro look, but boy is it dull, with an unsurprising ending. And the framing device – a grieving relative investigates – is shoddily abandoned.
