WARHAMMER TIME

The Black Library Weekender returns with more Warhammer madness

-

Landing on Earth for the first time since 2014, the Black Library Weekender is back with a bang this November! Taking place at the Belfry Hotel in Nottingham, the largest celebration of Warhammer fiction in the world invites you to take part in two jam-packed days, where you can meet the creative teams behind your favourite books, attend seminars where you can ask every question you’ve ever wanted to, and get your hallowed tomes signed by the authors themselves. You’ll also be able to buy new and pre-release titles, including Josh Reynolds’ Fabius Bile: Clonelord and the Black Library Events Anthology, featuring stories by CL Werner, John French and more. Yes, you can read them before anybody else in the world!

Who’ll be there? Well, loads of awesome authors, including Dan Abnett, James Swallow, Justin D Hill and David Guymer – and more guests will be announced soon. When it comes to seminars, you’re spoiled for choice. In the Wake of the Storm peeks at how the Age Of Sigmar authors create the cultures within the mortal realms. Meanwhile, Abnett will give an in-depth discussion of his new Gaunt’s Ghosts novel, and the authors of the Horus Heresy series will discuss key titles.

On Saturday night, you’ll also be invited to let your hair (or horns) down for the Saturday Night Entertainment segment, which includes a quiz and the chance to be part of the Black Library Audio Drama. Your weekender ticket, which is available for £75, includes a goody bag that contains a programme, bookmark, lanyard for that all-important ticket, and a handy autograph book for when you’re face-to-face with those authors you love. Move quickly, though – tickets are selling like hot cakes!
