What if the second world war began and never ended? this is the question at the core of the 1936 cautionary tale Things To Come, based on the hG wells novel. at the time it was made the world was on the brink of one of the most devastating conflicts in human history. this fear of war bled into a future world that has been at war for so long it no longer knows why it’s fighting. there is light at the end of the tunnel, however, if mankind comes together in the name of progress. a group of pilots band together calling themselves the wings over the world in an effort to erase the lines on a map and unify the world once again. If it’s a choice between all the universe and nothingness, we know which one we’d prefer.
