SFX BOOK CON IS BACK!

Our very own author event gets a follow-up – and it’s even bigger!

In February, SFX joined forces with Foyles bookshop on London’s Charing Cross Road to bring together some of the best science fiction and fantasy authors in the UK for an afternoon of panels and signings. Our panels united Richard Morgan, Claire North, Vic James, Adam Roberts and Anna Smith Spark to talk about adaptations of novels, and Peter F Hamilton, Adrian Tchaikovsky, Gareth L Powell, Adam Christopher and Una McCormack to ponder whether space-set SF is better when it’s utopian or dystopian.

We know you enjoyed it as much as we did, so we’re doing it again – and SFX Book Con 2 will be bigger and longer, with more authors and more panels.

Taking place on Saturday 10 November – meaning it’s the ideal time to pick up some Christmas presents for friends, family or yourself – it’s the perfect day out for genre book lovers.
