The call of Casablanca Morocco
Nothing stands between the magnificence of Hassan II Mosque and the fury of the North Atlantic Ocean. Built in 1993 on a small promontory at the end of the Boulevard de la Corniche the mosque is an icon of modern Casablanca (and one that few non-Muslims are allowed to enter), its 210-metre-high minaret tropped with a laser directed towards Mecca. As photographer Yasmin Mund discovered its seawall attracts thrill-seekers, dancing, clapping and showing of to an audience vefore body-surfing the two metre high swell. www.whalesing.com www.muchmorocco.com
