Venerated piano masters, Steinway & Sons, have brought the magic of the player piano into the 21st century. Exchanging the punctured music scroll for an iPad-enabled library of masterpieces, the Steinway Spirio accurately replicates the nuances of virtuoso live performances – pedalling, phrasing, trills, crescendos and more – all without the performer. Over 1700 Steinway Artists have contributed to the system’s catalogue, performing everything from contemporary hits to classical concertos, with the entire library available to all Spirio owners at no additional cost. The mechanism itself is available on three existing piano models (B, M and O). The complimentary iPad connects to Spirio wirelessly, with new music files automatically added as they become available.
