if you prefer your ice-derived skidding and sliding in August, pay a visit to the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds on new Zealand’s South island. it is in this indomitable environment that BMW hosts its Alpine xdrive experience, encouraging drivers to hone highperformance skills behind the wheels of SUV xdrive models from the BMW range, including twin-turbo X6 and the X5M. Vehicles are equipped with the BMW xdrive all-wheel drive system for a quick response in every sort of condition. Participants will take part in power slides on the skid circle and go up against the clock on the ice slalom, all guided by professional drivers, plus enjoy hot-laps driven by the instructors. The experience also includes two nights in a Villa Suite at Millbrook resort in Queenstown, with one-way helicopter transfers from Millbrook to the Proving Grounds. The next BMW Alpine xdrive experience is expected to be held between 6 and 19 August 2016, and can be booked through BMW new Zealand.
