in February 2016, some 200 Bentley enthusiasts descended upon ruka near the edge of the Arctic circle to push Mulsannes, continental GTs and Flying Spurs to the edge of their ability on the frozen lakes of Finland. 2016 also saw the brand-new Bentayga make its Power on ice debut, showcasing the unprecedented power and speed of the world’s most luxurious SUV, reviewed on page 87. The four-day event combined warm Finnish hospitality at chalet ruka Peak with exhilarating exercises led by four-time World rally champion, Juha Kankkunen, and Bentley lead instructor, Peter Barnes. complementing the on-track experience was contemporary Finnish cuisine, traditional saunas and a husky-led safari to a reindeer farm under the stars.
