NIMMO BAY WILDERNESS RESORT
British Columbia
When Craig Murray opened Nimmo Bay in 1981, it welcomed just eight guests with a passion for remote fishing. Now the lodge has expanded to accommodate 18 visitors, and so has its capacity for adventure. the Canadian wilderness of the Great Bear rainforest, where the mountains meet the sea, is a quintessential location to discover by air. Stretching over 130,000 square kilometres, it offers dramatic landscapes, from glaciers to wooded forests where few have ever stepped. through all its changes, however, Nimmo Bay hasn’t forgotten its roots and it is still a place of pilgrimage for keen anglers… only now a fleet of helicopters is on hand to carry them to remote rivers and secret mountain waterways.
