Sweet stripes and nautical cross stitch make this baby romper an absolute treasure. The alpaca silk yarn makes it feel special, but you could swap it for a more practical fibre.
NOTES
The Yoke is worked first from the bottom up with a separate Front and Back piece and shaped with a double decrease. The Front and Back of the Trousers are worked separately, crocheted down from the base of the Yoke. The larger size has a longer leg. There is a buttoned opening between the bottom of the inside legs to help with changing, and buttons are added at the tops of the shoulders of the Yoke to join. Choose the size based on the Chest measurement. It is easy to adjust the Body length while working, but remember that yarn quantities given are for stated Length. The Stitch Pattern is written out first; start crocheting with the instructions for the Yoke.
