Designer Pony McTate says: “Looking for an edgier crochet project? Try this street-inspired top with its cool skull design. It’s a straightforward make even if you’re new to garments or filet crochet. Worked in breezy cotton, it has a loose fit for relaxed summer wear. And it’s reversible!” There’s a very handy chart to help you with the filet skull on page 54.

NOTES

You can wear the garment with the skull at the front or the back. The Front and Back are worked separately from the bottom up, worked into the row ends of a stretchy rib made of dc in the back loop only. A simple collar is worked in rows once the panels are seamed at the shoulders. The sleeves are worked in rows from the armholes and are minimally shaped using filet half-squares.
