Wham Bam shoe clips

Yarn D Blue Lake (066), Yarn E Violet (053) and Yarn F Black (100) A 1.5mm (US 8) steel hook 2 pieces of felt for backing approx 9x5.5cm (3½x2¼in) Two clip-on earring clips Fabric glue Sewing needle

MEASUREMENTS

The finished clips measure approx 9x5.5cm (3½x2¼in)

NOTES

See Charts on p94, and Chart Notes for Pow Pocket Patch. Note that all Rows are worked on the RS for the Shoe Clips, therefore all rows on the Chart are read from right to left. Fasten off yarns at the end of each Row.

PATTERN

Using Yarn B, ch31.

Row 1 (RS) Dc in second ch from hook and each ch across referring to the Chart for colour changes. Fasten off. [30 dc]

Rows 2-15 (all RS) Ch1 (does not count as st), dc in each dc across referring to the Chart for colour changes. Fasten off. [30 dc] Weave in all ends on WS. Using a single strand of Yarn F and a needle, sew shadow detailing on as shown in bold black lines on the Chart. Block Clips to Size. Cut felt to size and glue to back. Glue earring clips to centre back near the top.
