NOTES

The wrap is made up of two flower panels (5x3 motifs) which are then joined with crochet mesh panels to complete the wrap. Each flower is made using three colours, Yarns A, B and C. Powder is not used in the flower motifs. Make 5 flower centres (Rounds 1-2) in each colour, then distribute the colours evenly between the outer Rounds.

BASIC FLOWER !MAKE 30"

With Yarn A, ch5, ss to first ch to join into a ring.

Round 1 (RS) Ch2, tr into ring (counts as first cluster), ch2, (2-tr cluster into ring, ch2) 5 times, ss to top of first tr to join. [6 clusters]

Round 2 Ss in first ch-2 sp, ch2, (tr, ch3, 2-tr cluster) in same ch-2 sp, ch1, *(2-tr cluster, ch3, 2-tr cluster) in next ch-2 sp, ch1; repeat from * 4 more times, ss to top of first tr to join.

Fasten off. [12 clusters]. Round 3 Join Yarn B to any ch-sp, ch2, (tr, ch3, 2-tr cluster) in same ch sp, (2-tr cluster, ch3, 2-tr cluster) in each ch-sp around, ss to top of first tr to join. Fasten off. [24 clusters].

Round 4 Join Yarn C to any ch-3 sp, ch1 (does not

count as st), (2dc, 2htr, picot, 2htr, 2dc) in each ch-3 sp around, ss to first dc to join.

Fasten off. [12 petals]. Make the first flower following the Basic Flower Pattern. Subsequent flowers are joined as you go in Round 4. Each Flower is joined to the next flower at 3 adjacent petals. Replace the picot with (ch2, ss to picot in adjacent flower, ss back into second ch of ch-2). Make a row of 5 motifs, then attach a further two rows of 5 joining as you go.

MESH SECTIONS MIDDLE SECTION

Row 1 (RS) With RS facing, join Powder with a ss in picot of first of 3 petals on first flower to work along longer edge of the flower panel, dc in same picot, (ch5, dc in picot of next petal) twice, *ch10, dc in picot of first petal on next flower, (ch5, dc in picot of next petal) twice; repeat from * 3 more times, turn.

Row 2 (WS) Ch6 (counts as dtr, ch2), dc in first ch-5 sp, ch5, dc in next ch-5 sp, *(ch5, dc in ch-10 sp) twice, (ch5, dc in next ch-5 sp) twice; repeat from * 3 more times, ch2, dtr in last dc, turn.

Row 3 Ch1 (does not count as st), dc in same st, *ch5, dc in next ch-5 sp; repeat from * across working last dc in 4th ch of beg ch- 6, turn.

Row 4 Ch6 (counts as dtr, ch2), dc in first ch-5 sp, *ch5, dc in next ch-5 sp; repeat from * across to last ch-5 sp, ch2, dtr in last dc, turn.

Rows 5-50 Repeat Rows 3- 4. The next Flower Panel is attached in the next Row.

Row 51 (RS) With RS of Flower Panel facing, ss in picot of first petal of first flower, (ch5, dc in next ch-5 sp, ss in picot of next petal) twice, *ch5, dc in next ch-5 sp, (ch5, dc in next ch-5 sp, ss in picot of next petal) 3 times; repeat from * 3 more times. Fasten off.

END SECTIONS

Rows 1-20 Working along the opposite long edge of each Flower Panel, work as Rows 1-20 of Middle Section. Row 21 Ch2 (counts as htr), htr in ch-2 sp, 5htr in each ch-5 sp across, 2htr in ch-2 sp. Fasten off.

EDGING END SECTIONS

Row 1 With RS facing, join Powder in first st made in the petal point of Row 1, ch1 (does not count as st), work 4dc in each dtr along side of mesh panel, 2dc in corner st, dc in each htr across to next corner, 2dc in corner st, 4dc in each dtr along side of mesh panel. Fasten off.

MIDDLE SECTION

Row 1 With RS facing, join Yarn A in first st in the petal point, ch1 (does not count as st), work 4dc in each dtr along side of mesh panel. Fasten off. Repeat along opposite side of mesh panel.

TO FINISH

Weave in all ends and block wrap to measuremen­ts.
