The Necklace is made with the chainless foundation treble technique and is worked with what will be the WS facing you. See Diagram for the constructi­on and stitches to join to.

NECKLACE

Thread 24 sequins onto the yarn.

Row 1 Ch3 (counts as stitch), Ftr in third ch from hook, Ftr in ch-1 from previous Ftr, pulling a sequin up to the hook before the last yrh of the tr, complete the tr enclosing the sequin, (Ftr, Ftr with sequin) 23 times, 2Ftr, fasten off. [51 sts, 24 sequins]

Thread 15 sequins onto the yarn.

Row 2 With the sequins from Row 1 on the underside, ss in base of 17th st from start of Row 1, Ftr, skipping two sts from Row 1 and inserting hook in base of 14th st from start of Row 1, (Ftr, Ftr with sequin) 15 times, Ftr, ss in 17th st from end of Row 1, Ftr replacing the extra ch-1 with a ss into the 14th st from end of Row 1, fasten off. [33 sts, 15 sequins]

Thread 11 sequins onto the yarn.

Row 3 Ss in base of 4th st from start of Row 1, Ftr inserting hook in base of 7th st from start of Row 1, (Ftr, Ftr with sequin) 11 times, Ftr, ss in 9th st from start of Row 2, Ftr replacing the extra ch-1 with a ss in 12th st from start of Row 2, fasten off. Thread 11 sequins onto the yarn.

Row 4 Follow the same principle to work a Ftr joining in the 12th and the 9th sts from the end of Row 2, (Ftr, Ftr with sequin) 11 times, Ftr, ss in 7th st from end of Row 1, Ftr joining in 4th st from end of Row 4 as before, fasten off.

Thread 13 sequins onto the yarn.

Row 5 Join a Ftr in the 15th and 18th sts from start of Row 3, (Ftr, Ftr with sequin) 13 times, Ftr, ss in 3rd st from start of Row 4, Ftr joining in 6th st from start of Row 4, fasten off.

TIES MAKE 2

Join yarn in end of Row 1, ch61, turn, ss in each ch, ss to base of ch, fasten off. Repeat for opposite side.
