NOTES
The Phone Case is made in a ripple pattern changing colour every two rows. Do not cut the yarn at the end of a colour change row but bring it up the side of the work, ready to be joined again. To make the case wider simply increase the number of rows worked.
PHONE CASE
Using Yarn A, ch34.
Row 1 (WS) Tr in 4th ch from hook (skipped sts count as tr), *tr in next 3 ch, tr3tog, tr in next 3 ch, 3tr in next ch; repeat from * once more, tr in next 3 ch, tr3tog, tr in next 3 ch, 2tr in last ch, turn. [31 tr]
Row 2 (RS) Ch3, tr into st at base of ch, *tr in next 3 sts, tr3tog, tr in next 3 sts, 3tr in next st; repeat from * once more, tr in next 3 sts, tr3tog, tr in next 3 sts, 2tr in last st, turn. [31 tr] Change to Yarn B.
Rows 3-4 Repeat Row 2.
Change to Yarn A.
Rows 5-6 Repeat Row 2.
Rows 7-16 Repeat Rows 3-6, changing colour every 2 rows.
Fasten off, leaving a tail of approx 50cm.
HEART MOTIF
Using Yarn C, make a magic loop.
Round 1 (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st throughout), 6dc into the loop, ss to first dc to join. [6 sts]
Round 2 Ch4 (counts as dtr), (dtr, 3tr) in next st, dc in next st, (dc, ch2, dc) in next st, dc in next st, (3tr, dtr) in next st, ch4, ss in st at base of beg ch-4.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
FISH MOTIF
Using Yarn D, make a magic loop.
Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 6dc into the loop, ss to first dc to join, turn. [6 dc]
Round 2 Ch1, 2dc in each st around, ss to first dc, turn. [12 dc]
Round 3 Ch1, (2dc in next st, dc in next st) 6 times, ss to first dc, do not turn. [18 dc]
Round 4 Ch3, 5tr in next st, leave rem sts unworked.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
TO MAKE UP
Fold Case in half with RS together and sew along bottom and side. Weave in ends. Turn Case so RS is facing out. EDGING
Join Yarn A to open end of Case.
Round 1 Ch1, 2dc into each row end, ss to first dc to join. [32 dc]
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Sew Heart Motif on one side of Phone Case and the Fish Motif onto other side. You can use the image as a guide. Flip the pouch over and hook up a sweet little fish motif for the opposite side to the heart
