MEASUREMENTS

Blanket measures 95x150cm (37x59in)

NOTES

Blanket is made up of 15 Squares (8 Plain Squares and 7 Flower Squares), which are joined together before the Border is added. Each Square is worked using a ‘corner to corner’ (c2c) construction in blocks of (ch3, 3tr) worked into the same sp.

Each row is made up of a diagonal row of blocks, starting with 1 block in the bottom right-hand corner, increasing to two blocks in the next row, 3 blocks in the next row and so on. When you have worked a row with 15 blocks you will continue by working one fewer block on each row.

There is a Flower Chart to the right, which you should refer to when making the Flower Squares. Each small Square represents 1 c2c block. Read all rows diagonally on the Chart. The first 2 rows of colourwork have been written out to guide you.

Change colour on the ss between c2c blocks. Do not carry the yarn, instead wind off separate balls of each colour to use.
