Amigurumi fans will recognise the familiar spirals of this continuous crochet method. Those unfamiliar with the technique should note that for this pattern, stitch markers really are a must for keeping track of your rounds.

NOTES

Hat is worked from the top of Crown down to Brim. Pattern is worked in a spiral without closing off each round with a ss. To keep track of rounds, mark the first st of the round, moving the marker up as you work.

Both colours are used in each round. When removing hook from working loop to work with the other colour, pull up the loop or secure it with a marker to stop from unraveling and make it easier to pick up again. To pick up, insert hook back into same loop as before and continue crocheting.
