STRIPY MITTENS

Hands down the best one-skein ngerless mittens ever!

- By Ilaria Caliri

Cold hands, warm heart? We think warm hands, warm heart is even better! Try these mittens out for size.

NOTES

Mittens are worked in rows, turning the work at the end of each row. The ribbing section is worked at the beginning and end of most rows. To create the shaping over the hand you will work some partial rows, skping sts at the end. These sts will then be worked into on the next row worked in the same direction. Extra rows are worked for the Thumb section of the Hand.

The final row is seamed to the first one with slip stitches and a seam is added behind the Thumb. Fold the second Mitten with the opposite side facing out in order to place the seam behind the Thumb for both hands.
