Hardworking feet deserve a treat, so lavish love on them with a premier pair of socks by Lucy Croft
Oh-so soft socks are a dream to wear, and these beauties are pretty enough to go on show with cropped trousers or dresses. They’d be a brilliantly practical gift to say thank you to someone for their hard graft.
NOTES
Socks are worked from the Toe up. A space is left for the Heel, which is worked in at the end. Toe and Heel are worked in the amigurumi style. Work stitches in a continuous spiral without closing of each round with a ss. You may find it helpful to place a marker in the first st of the round, moving it up as you work. Yarn is dyed in small batches and the colours available may vary.
SOCKS
TOE Ch11.
Round 1 (RS) Dc in second ch from hook and next 8 ch, 3dc in last ch, turn to work in opposite side of foundation ch, dc in next 8 ch, 2dc in final ch. [22 sts]
Round 2 (2dc in next st, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next st, dc in next st) twice. [26 sts]

Using a small amount of yarn, sew the base of the final ftr to the 28th skipped st.
