Using yellow, ch4 and ss in last ch to form a loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch 1 (does not count as st throughout), 8dc into loop, ss to beg dc. [8 sts]

Change to pink.

Round 2 Ch1, (popcorn, ch1) in each st around, ss to beg popcorn. [8 sts, 8 ch-1 sps]

Change to yellow.

Round 3 Ch1, *dc in ch-1 sp, ch4, skip popcorn, 5-tr cl in next ch-1 sp, ch4, skip popcorn; rep from *

around, ss to beg dc.

[8 sts, 8 ch-4 sps]

Change to pink.

Round 4 Ch3 (counts as tr), *4tr in next ch-4 sp, ch2, FPtr around cl, ch2, 4tr in next ch-4 sp, tr in next dc; rep from * 3 times more omitting final tr on last rep, ss to top of beg ch-3. [40 sts, 8 ch-2 sps] Fasten off.

Join yellow in ch-2 sp before any FPtr.

Round 5 Ch1, *2dc in sp, FPdc around next st, 2dc in ch-sp, ch4, skip 3 sts, dc in next st, FPdc around next st, dc in next st, ch4, skip 3 sts; rep from * 3 times more, ss to beg dc. [32 sts, 8 ch-4 sps]

Round 6 Ch2 (counts as htr), *htr in next st, (htr, picot, htr) in next st, htr in next 2 sts, ch2, dc in second skipped below st in Round 4, ch2, skip ch-4 sp, htr in next 3 sts, ch2, dc in second skipped below st in Round 4, ch2, skip ch-4 sp, htr in next 2 sts; rep from * 3 times more omitting final htr on last rep, ss to top of beg ch-2.
