Square is made first. All other parts are made separately and sewn to the square at the end. SAUSAGE & MASH SQUARE

Using a 4mm hook and black, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch3 (counts as tr throughout), 11tr in loop, ss to top of beg ch-3. [12 sts]

Round 2 (RS) Ch3, tr in st at base of ch-3, 2tr in each st around, ss to top of beg ch-3. [24 sts]

Round 3 Ch3, tr in st at base of ch-3, tr in next st, (2tr in next st, tr

in next st) 11 times, ss to top of beg ch-3. [36 sts]

Round 4 Ch3 tr in st at base of ch-3, tr in next 2 sts, (2tr in next st, tr in next 2 sts) 11 times, ss to top of beg ch-3. [48 sts] Fasten off.

Join red in any st.

Round 5 Ch3, *htr in next 2 sts, dc in next 4 sts, htr in next 2 sts, tr in next st, 2dtr in next st, ch2, 2dtr in next st, tr in next st; rep from * 3 times more omitting final tr on last rep, ss to top of beg ch-3.

[56 sts, 4 ch-2 sps]

Round 6 Ch3, *tr in each st to ch-2 sp, (2tr, ch2, 2tr) in ch-sp; rep from * around, ss to top of beg ch-3. Fasten off. PEAS (MAKE 9)

Using a 2.5mm hook and green, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st throughout), 8dc in loop, ss to beg dc. Fasten off leaving a long tail MUSTARD

Using a 2.5mm hook and yellow, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 8dc in loop, ss to beg dc. [8 sts]

Round 2 Ch1, 2dc in each st around, ss to beg dc. [16 sts]

Fasten off leaving a long tail. MASH (MAKE 2)

Using a 4mm hook and white, make a magic loop.

Round 1 Ch3, 11tr in loop, ss to top of beg ch-3. [12 sts]

Round 2 Ch3, tr in st at base of ch-3, 2tr in each st around, ss to top of beg ch-3. [24 sts]

Round 3 Ch1, 2dc in first st, htr in next st, (tr, dtr) in next st, dtr in next st, (tr, htr) in next st, dc in next st, 2dc in next st, dc in next st, (htr, tr) in next st, dtr in next st, (dtr, tr) in next st, htr in next st, (2dc in next st, dc in next st) twice, (htr, tr) in next st, dtr in next st, (dtr, tr) in next st, tr in next st, (2dc in next st, dc in next st) twice, ss to beg dc.

Fasten off first piece only. Place two pieces together and ss together, stuffing as you join. SAUSAGES (MAKE 2)

Using a 2.5mm hook and brown, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 8dc into loop, ss to beg dc. [8 sts]

Rounds 2-14 Ch1, dc in each st around, ss to beg dc.

Stuff Sausage.

Round 15 Ch1, (dc2tog) 4 times, ss to beg dc. [4 sts]

Round 16 Ch1, (dc2tog) twice. Fasten off. TO FINISH

Sew the Peas, Mash, Mustard and Sausages over Rounds 1-4 of Square.

Weave in all ends.
