Welcome to our packed Easter issue! Spring is an exciting time for crafting – with pretty blossom everywhere and lambs skipping in every field, it’s no surprise we’re super keen to knit for the new season. Why not start with a real cutie this issue and cast on Alan Dart’s delightful Primrose Lamb on page 43?

Luckily for us spring is also packed with events – from February’s trade show, where all the luscious new autumn/winter yarns are launched, to The Knitting & Stitching Show at Olympia which is any day now. We can’t tell you how excited we are about meeting you all there!

If you’re a fan of tantalising texture, this issue really is a treat. Lovers of lace should try our cardi on page 57 – such a pretty cover-up – thoroughly modern knitters will love the slip stitch pattern in Bergère de France’s block jumper on page 77, and those who like a matching set can enjoy a flurry of reverse stocking stitch in our Simple Knits collection on page 67.
