GIVING IT HEART

Today I used a circular needle for the rst time, and used the magic loop, to make some hearts for my granddaughter. It took me three goes to master the cast on in the round, but sheer determination won through.

Up until today, I had always used two knitting needles. Next on my list to conquer is crochet, but that’s for another day. I’m fairly chuffed with how they’ve turned out and I’m sure she will be pleased with them, too. Margaret Crawford, via email
