M6L Make 6 Loops. Insert the needle from the front to the back of the work, through the first eyelet on the left, pass the yarn around the needle and draw a long loop through the hole to the front of the work. Leaving the loop on the needle, repeat, working from R to L across the other 5 eyelet holes. NB: Don’t pull the long loops too tightly. Put your thumb on the loops as you work the next stitch so that the yarn doesn’t get pulled back into the fabric. For a full abbreviati­ons list see page 95
