-

(MAKE 2) Cast on 6 sts using 4mm needles and Yarn A. Row 1 K2tog, K4. [5 sts] Knit 2 rows. Row 4 K3, k2tog. [4 sts] Row 5 Knit. Row 6 K2, k2tog. [3 sts] Knit 2 rows. Row 9 K2tog, K1. [2 sts] Knit 4 rows. Row 14 K2tog. Fasten off. Hold the Back Fin ends to the ends of the Back Fin, straight side down and diagonally side uppermost, with the widest short end at the thick end of the wedge. Sew into place. Find the centre point of the inverted row on the back of the main tea cosy and onto it put the centre point of the long sewn edge of the Back Fin. Pin into place with the fin above the inverted row with the thick side of the wedge leaning towards the drawn- up part of the main cosy in an elevated position for sewing – this won’t be the final position for the Back Fin. Oversew the fin to the inverted row for 5cm in the centre. The ends of the fin will hang off the cosy.
