Row 6 *K2tog; rep from * to end. [8 sts] Thread the end of the yarn through the remaining stitches and through the loop of the yarn itself. Draw up the knitting tightly and finish off. Don’t sew any more at this time. Turn work around so that the other long edge of the Front Wheel Tyre is upper most and with RS of tyre facing, repeat the process from ** to this side of the wheel. ***On both sides of wheel, with RS of work together, sew the row ends of the Front Tyre Walls together. Turn wheel RS out and stuff. Ensure you don’t overstuff; the side of the wheel should be flat. Sew the cast- on edge of the tyre to the cast- off edge closing the gap. With this seam down, pin the wheel to the main cosy with the chevrons of the tyre tread pointing forwards. Position behind the Front Fin and before the spout hole of main cosy. It’s best to pin both of the wheels in place at the same time to make sure they look level. It’s also good to have the teapot on a level surface when you pin the wheels on to make sure that the wheels touch the table. Keeping the Front Fin horizontal, sew the Fin End to the front wheel to help to support it.
