STEP-BY-STEP C4F CABLE 4 FRONT

Work up to where the cable pattern starts, then take the yarn to the back of the knitting.

Slip the first 2 stitches knitwise on to a cable needle. Hold these stitches at the front of the knitting.

Knit the next 2 stitches from the left-hand needle, then slide the stitches on the cable needle to the end of the needle and knit them on to the right-hand needle.

Bring the yarn to the front of your knitting, and pull the yarn tight to avoid ladders along the side of the cable. Purl the next stitch and continue in the pattern.
