To make all the pocket variations you’ll need straight needles or circular needles, for working back and forth in rows, and your chosen yarn. For marking patch pocket placement you’ll need waste yarn, lockable stitch markers or safety pins. For afterthought pockets you’ll need sharp scissors and double- pointed needles, plus a tapestry needle for grafting the bottom shut.
