PICKED UP POCKETS

Not a fan of sewing up? Picked up pockets could be for you!

-

Picked up pockets give a similar look to patch pockets but require less sewing up, as the bottom edge is already attached to the fabric. Starting from your marked lower edge for your pocket and with RS facing, pick up and knit 1 st for every stitch in the marked row. Turn and work 1 st, make one st purlwise, work to last st on row, make one st purlwise, work last st. The two increased stitches act as your seam allowance. Finish as given for patch pocket.
