I just wanted to say thank you for such a helpful article about expert xes and clever cheats in your issue 162. I’d never thought to use Fair Isle to blend in a new ball of yarn that’s in a different dye lot. I didn’t buy enough yarn for a jumper I’m knitting and had to buy two more balls. This will work wonderfully for the sleeves and bottom! Thank you
