(MAKE 2) Cast on 32 sts using 5mm needles and long-tail cast- on method. Row 1 ( WS) K2, *P1, K2; rep from * to end. Row 2 P2, *K1, P2; rep from * to end. Rows 3- 4 Rep rows 1 & 2 once more. Row 5 K2, *P1, K2; rep from * to end. Row 6 P2, *drop st, P2, K1, P2; rep from * to end. Rows 7-10 Rep rows 1 & 2 twice more. Row 11 K2, *P1, K2; rep from * to end. Row 12 P2, *K1, P2, drop st, P2; rep from * to end. Rows 13-16 Rep rows 1 & 2 twice more. Row 17 K2, *P1, K2; rep from * to end. These last 12 rows (rows 6-17) set the rib and dropped st patt. Rep these 12 rows 6 times more.
