ICE LOLLY PATTERN

NOTE Knit into yo stitches through the back loop to avoid holes appearing in work. CAST ON 12 sts. Work in st st for 16 rows. NEXT ROW (Ssk) twice, K to last 4 sts, (k2tog) twice. [8 sts] NEXT ROW Purl. NEXT ROW (K1, yo) twice, K to last 2 sts, (yo, K1) twice. [12 sts] Work in st st for 16 rows, starting with a purl row. Cast off purlwise. With right sides facing sew both sides of ice lolly together, leaving a 2-stitch gap at base (for stick to go in). Weave in ends and turn right way out. Stuff lightly with toy stuffing. Insert half an ice lolly stick into 2-stitch gap and glue in place.
