TO MAKE UP

Block gently to measuremen­ts, following any yarn care instructio­ns on the ball band. Join right shoulder seam.

NECKBAND

With RS facing, pick up and knit 27 ( 27:

33: 32: 33: 33) sts evenly along left side of neck, knit across the 22 ( 22: 22: 22: 24:

24) sts for front neck, then pick up and knit 27 ( 27: 33: 32: 33: 33) sts along right side of neck, and then knit across the 40 ( 40: 40: 42: 44: 44) sts of back neck. Now work on these 116 ( 116: 128: 128: 134: 134) sts for neck edging.

Row 1 ( WS) P3, *K2, P4; rep from * to last 5 sts, K2, P3.

Row 2 K3, *P2, K4; rep from * to last 5 sts P2, K3. Rep these 2 rows twice more.

Row 7 ( WS) P3, *K1, kfb, P4; rep from * to last 5 sts, K1, kfb, P3. [135 ( 135: 149: 149: 156: 156) sts] Row 8 (RS) K3, *P3, K4; rep from * to last 6 sts P3, K3.

Row 9 P3, *K3, P4; rep from * to last 6 sts K3, P3. Rep these 2 rows four times more.

Row 18 (RS) K3, *P3, K4; rep from * to last 6 sts P3, K3.

Row 19 P3, *K2, kfb, P4; rep from * to last 6 sts K2, kfb, P3. 154 ( 154: 170: 170: 178: 178) sts Row 20 K3, *P4, K4; rep from * to last 7 sts P4, K3. Row 21 P3, *K4, P4; rep from * to last 7 sts K4, P3. Rep these last 2 rows until neck edging measures 25cm. Cast off loosely in rib pattern.

Join left shoulder and collar, then sew side seams and sleeve seams. Pin sleeve into armhole and using small backstitch­es sew into place. Weave in ends and gently block to measuremen­ts, following any yarn care instructio­ns on the ball band.
