TENSION

Yarn used knits as lace to this tension: 14 sts and 24 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over garter st using 6mm needles and yarn held double

21.5cm (8 in) circumfere­nce x 18cm (7in) long

ABBREVIATI­ONS

Note Yarn is doubled throughout. It is easier to use two separate balls.

Cast on 30 sts using 6mm needles and 2 strands of Yarn A.

Work in garter st throughout (every row knit). Knit 10 rows.

Using 1 strand of Yarn A and 1 strand of Yarn B held double, knit 12 rows.

Using 1 strand of Yarn B and 1 strand of Yarn C held double, knit 12 rows.

Using 2 strands of Yarn C held double, knit 10 rows.

Cast off all sts. Block gently to measuremen­ts, following any yarn care instructio­ns on the ball band. Sew side seam. Sew in yarn ends.
