HER ROYAL MAJESTY

I live in New Zealand and get my Simply Knitting magazine sent directly to me every month. My friend, when visiting, saw in issue 146 the knitting pattern for the Queen celebrating her 90th birthday. She asked me if I would knit it for her as she had a family member who just loves anything to do with the royal family and wouldn’t have anything like this. She didn’t want the Queen on a teapot or the Guardsmen on egg cups though. I love a challenge so made my own version of the royal celebration. It was a real hit. I hope you enjoy seeing what I have done.
