Choose whether you prefer to work the Polo Neck flat or in the round. WORKED FLAT Join left shoulder. Using 5 mm needles and with RS facing, K across 26 ( 28: 30: 30: 32) sts from Back neck, pick up and knit 15 ( 17: 17: 18: 18) sts evenly down left side of Front neck, K across 16 ( 18: 20: 20: 22) sts of Front neck, finally pick up and knit 16 ( 18: 18: 19: 19) sts evenly up right side of neck. [73 ( 81: 85: 87: 91) sts] Beg with a Row 1, work in rib as for Back for 15cm. Cast off loosely in rib. WORKED IN THE ROUND Join both shoulders. Using 5 mm DPNs or a 40cm long circular needle, with RS facing, K across 26 ( 28: 30: 30: 32) sts from Back neck, pick up and K15 ( 17: 17: 18: 18) sts evenly down left side of Front neck, K across 16 ( 18: 20: 20: 22) sts of Front neck, finally pick up and K15 ( 17: 17: 18: 18) sts evenly up right side of neck. 72 ( 80: 84: 86: 90) sts. Work in K1, P1 rib for 15cm.

Cast off loosely in rib.
